Listening to: Scorpions - Rock You Like a Hurricane

So, as planned, we headed up to Deniliquin for my Uncles Birthday on Saturday. We left at around 11:30 and got there at 4!

So the drive up was incredibly long, just over 4 hours! Im ever so glad that I bought my mp3 player now I would have listened to it for about 2 hours on the way up and back, it was a life saver. Although long, it was enjoyable, and Id do it again.

The first place we went when we arrived in deniliquin was the caravan park, it was a nice cozy little place with decent sized, cheap cabins. They were fully self-contained, and only cost around $60 for a night.

After we unpacked we headed up to the supermarket to get some milk, breakfast, bread, and other food stuffs.

Got back from the shops at about 5:15, got ready, and went to the party.

The party was ok, in a massive shed at my cousins property, lots of people who I haven't seen for a while, and a lot of socialising.

It was good though, my Uncle Leo liked it a lot, and was surprised that so many people showed up.

Most of the night I spent talking to my cousin scott, who lives only a km away from me, but we don't talk all too often. We ended up getting some jim beam (Bourbon, for those who don't know) although not enough to get us anywhere near pissed. It was $4 a can, so we could only get 6, but meh, some alcohol is better than no alcohol!

So afterwards, we got back to the caravan park, stayed up for another few hours, then finally went to sleep.

The next day we woke up at around 9, had showers and whatnot, got packed, and went to Leos house (His house this time, not my cousins) for brunch, which was awesome! Bacon, eggs, sausages, toast, and rolls, all cooked on the bbq, what more could you want? After a few hours there, it was finally time to leave, we set off again at around 12:30, and arrived home at 5ish. The trip home wasn't quite as bad as the one up there, not sure why exactly.

So, that was my weekend.

Now, being in year 12 and all, and being the last year of school and all, I was supposed to do some homework during the weekend. Which quite obviously did not take place. My Spec Maths teacher was quite annoyed, but he'll get over it and not doing any on the weekend left me to do a mass chunk of english questions which are due tomorrow, but thats ok, because they're done now.

So anyway, after spending all this time on my journal, its time to go and get some more homework done, and get some sleep before embarking another school day.

Oh, btw, DAv4 totally rocks! I love it, and I cant wait for their next addition to the journaling system (yes, apparently this can get better)

Oh times two, I have to make a new journal header soon, current one doesn't fit the skin anymore.
